There are several leadership opportunities at Mansfield FUMC! You are invited to join
one of these groups.  Just keep an eye on the monthly calendar for meeting dates and
times and come with your ideas and abilities, you will be welcomed with open arms.

Outreach Witness Committee
The mission of the outreach committee is to be a beacon of faith to all those outside of
the church community. We meet once a month to discuss ways to reach out to our
community and find ways to bring them into the family of Christ. This committee is open
to all and is responsible for such missions as hosting a Fifth Quarter for our high school
kids, giving away peanuts at the Christmas Parade, bringing youth into our church
through God Squad and Tween Time, and hosting a Fifth Sunday potluck to welcome
new guests and their families. Have ideas on how to reach out to our community? Come
join us the first Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the conference room upstairs.


Nurture Committee
This mission of the nurture committee is to nurture the spiritual lives of our faith
community. This committee plans such events as the Annual Hay Ride in October, the
Annual Valentine's Day Dinner, the Annual Pancake Breakfast,  and the new monthly
game night.  The committee is also assisting with the HolyHealthy UMC minisitry at the
church.  Join this group once a month to talk over ways to nurture and uplift our
community of faith while building a family environment that will inspire and retain
members throughout the years.
