| Purpose of the United Methodist Women The organized unit of United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ to develop a creative supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church. |
Mansfield First United Methodist Church is thrilled to
have two very active Circles of the United Methodist
Women, UMW Circle Number 1 and the Sisters In
Service (S.I.S.) Circle. Both Circles work hard to be in
mission to the community and the world. They
support such activities as:
UMW Circle Number 1 meets the first Monday of
every month at 5:30 p.m. in the church fellowship hall.
The Sisters In Service Circle meets the first Sunday
of every month at 6:00 p.m. in the church fellowship
hall.

- Nothing But Nets
- Church projects
- Scholarships for Youth to Veritas
- Our Daily Bread Cooperative Parish Food Ministry
- Recent clothes and toys mission to the children of Afghanistan
